I am your personal reading specialist, cheerleader and reading consultant that has been blessed to serve hundreds of children from the start of my education career in August 2001. I love to empower children and see them shine. I love to transform a struggling reader to one that is confident.  There is nothing like the smile of a child when they accomplish a task that seemed too hard or even unattainable.  It is a glow that lights up the room!

       In my role as a Reading Specialist/ Consultant, my mission is to identify and celebrate individual strengths and to identify gaps & weaknesses that can be thoughtfully remediated with customized reading recommendations and personalized reading strategies. While working on academic goals,  I also guide students in strategies to increase confidence, move beyond limiting beliefs,  set goals and reach success.  

       When I am not busy teaching and coaching, I am busy spending time with my family.  I've been married to my college sweetheart since 2002 and I've been chasing and driving my kids around since my oldest son was born in 2005.  My kids are my world.   My motta is to always be the coach I expect to work with my own kids.
